Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: August 24, 2026  ·  Applies to the RUTA Lead Management System, operated by Empiryx Tech

In short: you can disconnect Meta and stop new data from flowing in yourself, at any time, from inside RUTA. To delete data already stored — your account, your company's data, or an individual lead's data — email us and we'll act on the request. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

Who this page is for

Depending on your relationship to RUTA, a different path applies:

1

A RUTA Tenant admin or staff member who connected Meta

You authorized RUTA to access your Facebook Page, Instagram account, and/or ad account. You can revoke that access yourself, and separately request deletion of your company's account and data.

2

An individual whose data was submitted as a lead

Your name, email, phone number, or form answers were submitted — by you or on your behalf — through a Facebook/Instagram Lead Ad or a public form belonging to a business using RUTA.

Path 1 — Disconnect Meta or delete your RUTA account

  1. Disconnect the Meta integration (self-service, immediate): in RUTA, go to Settings → Integrations → Meta and select Disconnect. This immediately revokes RUTA's access token for your Meta account and stops any further sync or webhook delivery. The stored access token is deleted/invalidated as part of this action.
  2. Delete previously synced Meta data (Pages, ad accounts, campaigns, forms) from your RUTA account: email empiryxtech@gmail.com from your account's registered email with the subject "Data deletion request" and tell us what to remove. We will action Meta-sourced data deletion requests within 30 days.
  3. Delete your entire company/account from RUTA: email us the same way and specify that you want your full account deleted. We will confirm what will be removed (account, users, leads, integration data) before proceeding, since this is irreversible, and complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to any data we're legally required to retain longer (for example, for tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes).

Path 2 — Request deletion of your own lead data

If you submitted (or someone submitted on your behalf) a Lead Ads form or a RUTA public form for a specific business, that business is the data controller for your information — they decide how it's used and how long it's kept, and RUTA processes it on their behalf. The fastest path is usually to contact that business directly.

If you don't know which business to contact, or would rather go through us, email empiryxtech@gmail.com with:

  • Your full name, email, and/or phone number as submitted on the lead form (so we can locate the record).
  • The Facebook Page, Instagram account, or business name the ad/form belonged to, if you know it.
  • Whether you'd like your data deleted entirely, or just corrected.

We will identify the relevant business, notify them of your request, and — unless they have a legal basis to retain the record (for example, an active transaction with you) — delete the data from RUTA within 30 days of a verified request.

What gets deleted

A completed deletion request removes the requested personal data from RUTA's active database: contact details, form responses, notes, pipeline history, and (for Meta-connected data) the associated access tokens and synced Meta objects. Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you, and records we are legally required to keep, may be retained as permitted by law. Backups are rotated and purged on our standard schedule, so a deleted record may persist in a backup for a limited period before being fully purged.
